Carlo de' Medici, born in Florence on January 1, 1428, was a notable figure within the influential House of Medici. His life spanned a period of significant cultural and political change in Tuscany. Though born into a prominent family, his path led him to serve the Republic of Florence in various capacities, including the governorship of Siena. He was known for his scholarly pursuits and held a prebendary at the Duomo di Firenze.
