Louis Antoine, Duke of Angoulême, born in Versailles in 1775, was a distinguished member of the House of Bourbon. Throughout his life, he held significant titles, including Monarch of Lower Navarre, French co-prince of Andorra, and Count of Foix. For a brief period in 1830, he also held the title of King of France. His life spanned a tumultuous era of European history, witnessing the end of the Ancien Régime and the complex political landscape that followed. He died in Gorizia in 1844, leaving behind a legacy intertwined with the fate of the Bourbon dynasty.
