Andrew Stewart, 1st Lord Avondale, born in 1450, was a significant figure during a period of considerable change in the British Isles. Though he bore the title of 1st Lord Avondale, his lineage also connected him to the prominent House of Stewart. He was a monarch who wielded influence across multiple realms, reigning over Scotland, England, and Ireland, and at one point was also bestowed with the title Duke of York.
