Their story
Richard of Cornwall, born in Winchester on January 12, 1209, was a prominent member of the House of Plantagenet. A son of King John of England, he was a figure of considerable influence during the 13th century. He engaged in both political and military affairs, participating in crusades and acting as a mediator in European conflicts.
