Their story
Louis VII, Duke of Bavaria, born in 1368, was a prominent member of the House of Wittelsbach. His long life was marked by considerable political activity and a persistent pursuit of territorial power. As Duke of Bavaria-Ingolstadt, he engaged in numerous conflicts, both with his Wittelsbach relatives and other regional powers, in an effort to assert and expand his influence within the Holy Roman Empire.
