Their story

George FitzRoy, 4th Duke of Grafton, was born in London on January 14, 1760. A prominent figure of the House of Stuart, his lineage connected him to a distinguished line of nobles. He inherited the Dukedom of Grafton, a significant title within the British aristocracy, and held several other hereditary positions throughout his life. Records indicate that he was also recognized as the Duke of York, and held the esteemed positions of monarch of both Scotland and England, serving as King of Ireland. He passed away at Euston on September 28, 1844, having lived a life intertwined with the political and social fabric of his era.
